Losing My Camera Bag Over the Beauty of Rainy Steam Clock
What an eventful late evening around 10pm June 18th 2015 it has been for me in Gastown. After waiting for weeks rain arrived finally in Vancouver to do a panorama photo session of the old iconic Steam Clock and the charming Maple Tree Square in Gastown.
As a result you see in my photos all the different lights beautifully reflecting in the wet cobblestone paved street. With my camera mounted on the tripod I run along Water Street shooting from different angles that I forgot all about my camera bag I placed on a table outside Starbucks close to the Steam Clock. Coming back to the tables my bag with a $1,000 lens and smaller photo items was gone. So far from an honest, safe Vancouver! A bitter sweet experience since both panoramas became a bestseller.
